Questions
The short answers.
- What does royalty-free mean here?
- Royalty-free means you do not pay a fee each time the music is played or viewed. On a paid MusicVivo plan, you pay for the subscription and can use the tracks you generate under the commercial license without per-use royalties. It does not mean the music has no license terms at all.
- Will my video get a Content ID claim?
- Tracks are generated for your prompt rather than pulled from a shared library, which reduces the chance of matching someone else's registered music. No service can promise a claim will never happen. Keep your generation records and license details so you can dispute a mistaken claim quickly.
- Can I use the music in client projects?
- Yes, on Starter, Creator or Pro. The commercial license covers using your generated tracks in work you deliver to clients, such as ads, corporate videos and wedding films. Free plan tracks are for personal use only, so upgrade before using a track in paid work.
- Do I need to credit MusicVivo?
- Check the current license on your account page for the exact attribution terms. Many creators add a short music credit in the description as good practice, even when it is not required. It also helps viewers and reviewers understand where the track came from.
- How does this compare to Epidemic Sound or Artlist?
- Epidemic Sound and Artlist license tracks from large existing catalogues, which suit people who like browsing and want human-produced music. MusicVivo generates new tracks to your description and length. Many creators use both: a library for specific needs, and generated music for custom-length beds and fast turnarounds.
- How long can a background track be?
- Each track can run up to four minutes. For longer videos, generate two or three tracks in the same style and crossfade them in your editor. Credits are charged per second, so a 30-second ad bed uses 30 credits and a full four-minute track uses 240.
