- Is there a free beat maker plan?
- Yes. The Free plan includes 50 seconds of audio each month, which is enough to try a couple of short beats for personal use. For full-length beats or commercial use, Starter is $9 for 500 seconds, Creator is $19 for 1500 seconds and Pro is $39 for 4000 seconds.
- Can I sell or lease beats I make?
- Beats made on a paid plan come with a commercial license, so you can use them in released music and monetized content. If you plan to lease beats to other artists, read the license on your account page closely, since reselling rights may differ from using the beat in your own work.
- Are AI beats unique?
- Each beat is generated for your prompt rather than assembled from a fixed loop library, so it is unlikely to match another user's beat. Similar prompts can produce similar styles, though. Adding specific details about drums, instruments and tempo makes your results more distinctive.
- Can I use these beats in FL Studio or Ableton?
- Yes. Download the audio and import it into any DAW, including FL Studio, Ableton Live and Logic. Since you set the BPM in your prompt, you can match your project tempo and then chop, rearrange or layer the beat with your own sounds.
- Are the beats good for drum practice?
- Yes, steady instrumental beats at a fixed tempo work well as backing tracks for drummers. Ask for the groove and BPM you want to practise, and leave the drums light if you want room to play. We are also building a Practice Lab for drummers with a sticking trainer, timing test and backing tracks.
- How is this different from buying type beats?
- Type beats are made by producers and sold or leased, often non-exclusively. An AI beat is generated for your prompt in about a minute and licensed under your plan. Type beats offer a human producer's style, while generated beats are faster and cheaper for drafting.
