Questions
The short answers.
- Can I make music without vocals?
- Yes. Set the vocal slider to zero or describe the track as instrumental and MusicVivo generates music with no singing. This is the usual choice for video beds, podcast intros, game loops and anything where speech sits on top. You can always regenerate the same idea with vocals later if you want a sung version.
- What genres can it make?
- The presets cover Lo-fi, Synthwave, Pop, Rap, Cinematic, Jazz, Rock and Kids. Inside each, you can describe subgenres and instruments in plain words, such as boom bap drums, brushed snare or analog pads. Results are best when the prompt names a clear style, a mood and where the music will be heard.
- Can I set an exact BPM or key?
- You can describe tempo and key in your prompt, for example 90 BPM in D minor, and use the tempo slider for a quick setting. This helps when you need music that lines up with an edit, a dance routine or other tracks. Treat the result as a strong guide and check it in your editor.
- Who owns the music I generate?
- On paid plans you receive a commercial license to use your tracks in videos, ads, games and client work. Free plan tracks are licensed for personal use only. Copyright law around AI-generated audio is still developing in many countries, so read the license on your account page before relying on a track for a major release.
- How much does it cost?
- Pricing is per second of audio. Free gives 50 seconds a month, Starter is $9 for 500 seconds, Creator is $19 for 1500 seconds and Pro is $39 for 4000 seconds. A 60-second instrumental uses 60 credits, so you can plan a month of videos or episodes around a clear number.
- How does it compare to Soundraw, Mubert or AIVA?
- Soundraw and Mubert focus mainly on instrumental and background music, and AIVA on composition. MusicVivo generates both instrumentals and fully sung songs, and adds synced lyrics and cover art to each track. Feature sets change often, so compare each tool against the specific project you have in mind.
